FAQ's
What’s the deal with age groups? What ages are welcome? Are they all split up or training in one big group? For the most part, the age ranges at our camps are very wide and welcoming! The standard, unless otherwise noted, is ages 8 and up. There is no cap on age—most of our participants are in the youth to college range, but we also have adult athletes who want to join in as well and get a great experience! The athletes are broken up into groups of general age, so that the drills and competition can be catered to their levels and physical abilities. As a result, every participant is able to compete with others in their skill level, at a difficulty that will challenge them perfectly.
What is the skill and intensity level of the camp? Especially in our larger camps, the talent level of the athletes varies enough for every skill level to be accommodated. Not only are the groups broken up so every athlete will be able to work with and compete against athletes of similar levels, but every drill is able to be made easier or more difficult to fit the development needs of each athlete. Because of this, the camps are intense and competitive, but also unbelievably engaging and fun!
What is different about the camps? Our mission through our national and international camps is to elevate and shift the global training culture. So, needless to say, they have to be different than the average basketball camp or clinic. Our training involves competitive drills (athletes competing against each other in live situations), unique and innovative methods to train often-forgotten skills, training the athlete’s movement (to become better, stronger, more agile movers who are more resistant to injury), and a high energy level that athletes will not find anywhere else. Overall, the athlete will feel more challenged than the average clinic, but will enjoy every second of it. So, not only will athletes experience and take with them a unique method of training that will shift how they train and develop for years to come, we’re looking to promote creative, collaborative, competitive, and confidant mindsets that they can carry with them off of the court and into other ventures.
Do I bring my own ball? Preferably, yes. But we can make it work if you do not have one.
Is there a cut-off date for registration? Most registrations shut down 48 hours before the clinic to allow for preparation for the camp.
What is the refund policy if I sign up and can’t come? If you register and cannot make it, we offer full refunds until 48 hours before the camp! Since there are limited spots and we order shirts for each athlete at some camps, we are not able to give full refunds after that cut-off. But, it can be used as a credit for a future camps!
